Marnick Builders was established in March 1991 and starting a business during a recession was not easy, but with a van and £500 each Mark Smith and Nick Chinn started their partnership. We started with small jobs, repairs and maintenance for the general public and for the Carrick District Housing Department.

In 1993 we secured our first extension project and due to the success of that we expanded and began employing staff.

Our big turning point was in 2000 when we won the contract to rebuild Pennance House at Swanpool, Falmouth.

We then went on to do extensive refurbishment at Rosilian in Flushing. Some years later, when this property was sold on, the new owners engaged us to do even more extensive alterations.

From our early projects our reputation for quality, dedication and professionalism has spread. In 2004 we became Marnick Builders Ltd,
with both Mark and Nick as directors.
